(1) Introduction to natural products chemistry and secondarymetabolites, separation of natural products, structural analysis methods, (2) activityguided isolation of active moleculres from natural products and introduction ofrepresentative natural products derived from plants, microorganisms and otherorganisms, (3) Introduction of natural products biosynthesis and biosyntheticpathways of representative natural product groups such as terpenoids,phenolics, and alkaloids, and (4) analysis of natural products through massspectrometry, and introduction of research trends in applied natural productsthrough proteomics and metabolomics. Through this information, we intend tounderstand the basic contents of natural product chemistry and lay the foundation for future natural product research.
