Introduction

Environmental pollution, global warming, desertification, acid rain, etc, caused by rapid industrialization and tje growth of the population, that is to say the destruction of the ecosystem, are the most important issues of the 21st century. Green Chemistry and Environmental Biotechnology which brings together Environmental Technology, Clean Chemistry, Toxic Substance Control, and Biotechnology, is a modern science that can radically resolve the environmental problems the world is facing. Green Chemistry is a sector that transforms the traditional chemical industry into a green industry. Toxic Substance Control is used to effectively control the contaminated environment and makes recovery possible through purification and restoration. Finally, Environmental Biotechnology is a combined study of Environmental Technology and Biotechnology. These are all necessary for ecosystem preservation and restoration. Concerning education, research oriented on-site practice education is the norm. Creative and technical research professionals who are welcomed by the industry can be trained by linking theories and application technologies to practical education.

After Graduation

Our graduates will be in charge of academic study and technical applications of green chemistry and environmental biotechnology in a wide variety of fields such as chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, bioengineering, and nano science. Also, they will take leading roles in green chemistry and biotechnology related industries, and energy/environment fields, which will be the foundation of future chemical industries.
